  • This policy provides coverage for employees and labourers in case of work-related injury/death during work activities.
  • This Policy Covers The Following Incidents:
  • Work related Death: Workers can be indemnified for up to 24 months of their last basic salary before death (as per UAE labour Law currently in force subject to a minimum of Dhs.18,000/- and maximum of AED 35,000).
  • Partial / Permanent Disability: A percentage of Death benefits (subject to the medical committee report) as per UAE labour law in force shall be provided.
  • Sick leave: Indemnity shall be provided to the employer based on basic salaries / wages based on the employment contract.
  • Medical Expenses: Treatment is confined to local government or private hospitals/clinics and expenses are reimbursable.

You can also protect your company against claims made by employees under common/Sharia Law up to a selected limit of covers which generally goes up to a maximum of AED 200,000/- per employee/labour (Employer's Liability Takaful).
